<ST_FFHelpTextVal> (Help Text Value)

This simple type specifies the format of optional help text which may be associated with the parent form field.

example:

    </w:ddList>
  </w:ffData>
</w:fldSimple>

The <helpText> element specifies the help text for the parent form field - in this case, literal help text consisting of the string Example help text. ]

This simple type's contents are a restriction of the XML Schema string datatype.

This simple type also specifies the following restrictions:

  • This simple type's contents have a maximum length of 256 characters.
