Group Element
The <Group>
element is used to collect multiple objects so they can be positioned and transformed as a single unit. Objects that reference their parent container’s coordinate space become relative to the group’s local space when inserted into a group. Using groups supports creation of complex shapes, composed of many sub-shapes, that can be treated as a single entity.
<Group>
supports a subset of the <Shape>
element’s attributes.
