<ST_Guid> (128-Bit GUID)

This simple type specifies that its values shall be a 128-bit globally unique identifier (GUID) value.

The <guid> element specifies that the unique identifier associated with the parent entry shall be {00000000-5BD2-4BC8-9F70-7020E1357FB2}. This value may be used as needed by an application, for example, to uniquely identify a part regardless of its name. ]

This simple type's contents are a restriction of the XML Schema token datatype.

This simple type also specifies the following restrictions:

  • This simple type's contents must match the following regular expression pattern: \{[0-9A-F]{8}-[0-9A-F]{4}-[0-9A-F]{4}-[0-9A-F]{4}-[0-9A-F]{12}\}.
